What to write us about
- Corrections. If a date, local time, or city visibility looks wrong, please tell us — we recheck against NASA / USNO / IMO data and fix promptly. Astronomy is the one area where we accept zero tolerance for being a few minutes off.
- Reminder unsubscribe. Every reminder email has a one-click unsubscribe link, but if it does not work, replying "unsubscribe" to that email also removes you. You can also email us directly with the subject "unsubscribe".
- Privacy / data requests (GDPR). Access, correction, deletion, and export — we respond within 30 days as required.
- Partnerships. If you run an observatory, planetarium, eclipse-trip operator, or astronomy publication and want to discuss content, link, or co-marketing, we read every pitch.
- Press. For the 2026 Spain eclipse, we maintain city-level cloud-cover forecasts that update every six hours. Press inquiries get an expedited response.

What we cannot help with
- Personal astrology, horoscopes, or birth charts. skyalert.io covers astronomical events only.
- Selling or buying eclipse glasses directly — we link to verified retailers but do not stock product.
- Live in-event tech support. The site is meant to be self-serve. If you cannot get the countdown to load, refresh and check your network; if it persists, email us after the event.
Reporting abuse
If you believe someone is using skyalert.io reminders to harass a recipient (subscribing them without consent), email us with the affected address and we will remove the subscription and block the source where possible.
