Local best viewing window: 18:45–06:20 CET on the peak night, about 11.6 hours of astronomical darkness. Scaled to that altitude, the 120/hour headline figure works out to roughly 96 meteors an hour from Tromsø under a genuinely dark sky. Tonight: intermittent cloud, so patience pays off.
