The Ursids meteor shower peaks from Seoul around Dec 22, with up to 10 meteors per hour under ideal conditions. Local best viewing window: 23:05–06:05 KST on the peak night, about 7.0 hours of astronomical darkness. Scaled to that altitude, the 10/hour headline figure works out to roughly 7 meteors an hour from Seoul under a genuinely dark sky. Tonight: limited visibility; a site a short drive away may do better.
