Local best viewing window: 01:35–05:50 EET on the peak night, about 4.2 hours of astronomical darkness. Scaled to that altitude, the 15/hour headline figure works out to roughly 12 meteors an hour from Helsinki under a genuinely dark sky. Tonight: unbroken cloud; conditions are as poor as they get.
